McDonald’s is all set to establish its largest Global Capability Centre (GCC) outside the United States in Hyderabad, India. The fast-food giant has acquired 2 lakh sq ft in RMZ Nexity and aims to recruit a whopping 2,000 employees for this initiative. CEO Chris Kempczinski highlighted Hyderabad’s abundant talent pool and robust infrastructure as pivotal reasons for this strategic move. In addition to this, the company plans to procure local produce and leverage Telangana as a hub for skill development. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy lauded this investment as a significant impetus for the state’s economy, emphasizing the positive impact it will have on job creation and overall economic growth.
