Anupam Kher confirms a new international project

What Kher said about working across languages

In his announcement, Kher shared a photograph with the makers and reflected on the experience of performing in a different linguistic and cultural setting. Yes Punjab reported that he described the role as personally affecting and welcomed the chance to explore another side of himself as an actor.

He credited Jonsson, the producers and Munshi, whose work as both writer and performer brings him into two parts of the production. Kher also acknowledged his fellow actors. His comments focused on the ability of emotion and performance to connect people across languages as he began this new collaboration.
