Tips joins the producing team
Tips Films and Tips Music have joined Emraan Hashmi’s musical horror project Rooh, bringing Kumar Taurani into the producing team. The partnership was reported on November 3 by Bollywood Hungama’s Fenil Seta and separately by PTI in a report published by Free Press Journal.
The film is being planned for a theatrical release in 2027 across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The announcement adds production and music partners to the project; it does not identify a specific release day. Mayank Sharma, known for his work on the Breathe series, is directing.

The producers describe Rooh as a blend of horror and romance in which music forms part of the storytelling. Tips Music will handle the soundtrack. In the statements carried by both publications, Hashmi connects the collaboration to the importance songs have held in audiences’ relationship with his films.
Taurani also points to an earlier connection: he produced Footpath, Hashmi’s debut film, which released in 2003. The new project therefore brings them together again, with the announced musical horror approach providing the basis for this collaboration. The makers’ descriptions set out their intentions for the film, rather than establishing how it will ultimately be received.

Bollywood Hungama identifies Vishal Kapoor and Mayank Sharma as the writers. The producing credits name Kumar Taurani, Girissh Kumar, Vikram Khakhar and Sunny Khanna, with Vikas Sahni as co-producer. Tips Films presents the project as an A Vicked Films Production.
PTI independently confirms the main producing partnership and the three-language release plan. The material development is Tips coming on board alongside the existing team, with the theatrical window set for 2027. The November 3 announcement keeps the focus on the production alliance and the film’s intended combination of music, romance and horror.
