Emraan Hashmi safe after car-flip incident on Gunmaaster G9 set

Spokesperson confirms the actor is fine

Emraan Hashmi is safe following a car-flip incident during the climax shoot of Gunmaaster G9, according to his spokesperson’s response to SCREEN. The Indian Express reported on October 14 that its entertainment team contacted the actor’s representative after a behind-the-scenes video circulated online. The spokesperson confirmed that an accident had occurred during the shoot and said Hashmi was “fine”.

The footage described in the report shows a car suspended above a van turning over and crashing down, with the actor standing close to the point of impact. The representative’s response supplies a direct update on Hashmi’s condition, separate from what viewers might infer from the video alone.

What the earlier report could establish

NDTV also reported the incident, describing a suspended vehicle flipping during the film’s high-risk climax sequence and coming close to Hashmi’s face. Its earlier account said no injuries had been reported, while noting that the makers had not clarified whether the movement shown was part of a planned shot or something that went wrong.

That distinction matters when describing the footage. The reports support the account of an on-set incident and the subsequent update that Hashmi is safe. They do not establish a technical cause or who was responsible. An apparent vehicle movement in a clip should not be treated as proof of a particular equipment failure.

The film behind the shoot

The Indian Express identifies Aditya Datt as the director of Gunmaaster G9 and November 27 as its scheduled theatrical release date. The project reunites Datt and Hashmi with Himesh Reshammiya. The film is still completing its climax work; the current news concerns the incident during that production and the spokesperson’s reassurance about the actor.
