What did Ramayana release on opening day?

The makers of Ramayana: Rise of a Legend released the film’s official Shree Hanuman Chalisa music video on November 5, the day the first instalment opened in theatres. India Today reported that the video includes Sunny Deol’s introduction as Hanuman, footage that also appears after the film’s credits.

The public release puts that introduction alongside the full devotional recording. Moneycontrol reported that the video is available through the official World of Ramayana and T-Series YouTube channels, with the track also available for streaming. T-Series released the film’s music.

Who sings on the new recording?

Diljit Dosanjh, Sukhwinder Singh, Mohit Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan and Kailash Kher are the five featured singers, according to both reports. Moneycontrol credited Sreekanth Hariharan with additional vocals and identified A.R. Rahman as the recording’s composer, producer and arranger.

Those credits concern this specific rendition. India Today separately identified Rahman and Hans Zimmer as composers of the film’s score. Dosanjh’s involvement is on the recording, while Deol plays the character shown in the accompanying video.

How much of Sunny Deol’s Hanuman does the video show?

India Today described a glimpse built around the character’s outline and movement. Hanuman is shown from behind before a leap, and Deol’s face stays in shadow. The sequence sets up a larger role for Hanuman in the next instalment, according to the outlet.

The first film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. India Today reported that the film follows the story toward Sita’s abduction, with the credits sequence introducing Hanuman for what follows. The music video makes that brief reveal available alongside the song on its own.
