Gold Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) in India experienced a significant decline in inflows by 47.22% to Rs 1,979 crore in February, despite soaring gold prices, as investors took profits and sought opportunities in the equity market. Nonetheless, there was an impressive 99% surge in inflows compared to the previous year. UTI Gold ETF emerged as the top performer with returns of 3.70%. Gold continues to be a crucial asset for portfolio diversification, especially in times of global uncertainty, leading to a 7% growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) to Rs 55,677 crore.
