A 60-year-old woman in Hyderabad fell victim to a scam orchestrated by her brother, resulting in a loss of Rs 2.8 crore. The brother convinced her to invest in a fake coffee powder company by falsely claiming association with cricketer Chris Gayle and promising lucrative returns. Unfortunately, the woman and other investors only received Rs 90 lakh back out of the total investment of Rs 5.7 crore.
