Bengaluru’s Cooperation Minister K N Rajanna recently filed a petition with Home Minister G Parameshwara in India, accusing politicians of falling victim to honeytraps. Rajanna emphasized that judges were not implicated in his claims and clarified that his statements had been misconstrued. In response, Home Minister Parameshwara indicated that any further steps in the matter would be contingent upon directives from Speaker UT Khader. Parameshwara also highlighted that any investigation into these allegations would be conducted autonomously and would not be stalled by the pending decision of the Supreme Court.
