The gang, reportedly associated with Chinese nationals operating in Thailand and Cambodia, aimed to establish call centers in India and Nepal. Several arrests were made, involving suspects from Tamil Nadu, Mumbai, and a Kazakhstan citizen, on charges related to human trafficking and online deception. This alarming scheme sheds light on the insidious nature of cyber exploitation and the urgent need for heightened vigilance.
