Goa police recently exposed an international trafficking syndicate that deceived women with false work-from-home prospects, leading them into cyber exploitation. The gang, reportedly tied to Chinese operatives operating in Thailand and Cambodia, strategized to establish call centers in India and Nepal. Several arrests were made, involving suspects from Tamil Nadu, Mumbai, and a citizen of Kazakhstan, accused of engaging in human trafficking and online scams.
