In a recent development in Goa, Police Inspector Sunil Gudlar and Constable Mohammad Hussen Haryar were arrested by the anti-corruption branch for their involvement in a bribery scandal. The arrests came after a meat trader from Belagavi filed a complaint against them, alleging that they demanded money to permit the transport of meat. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has assured that strict action will be taken against the accused. Notably, Gudlar has a history of previous corruption charges as well. The ACB is now pushing for their suspension pending further investigation into the matter.
