Hanuman Ansh to stream on Sony LIV from November 27

When and where will Hanuman Ansh stream?

Hanuman Ansh will begin streaming on Sony LIV on Friday, November 27, 2026. Hindustan Times reported that the service and director Vishal Chaturvedi announced the date in a joint Instagram post on November 6. NDTV separately reported the same streaming date for the Hindi devotional drama.

Bollywood Hungama reported that Sony Pictures Networks India acquired both digital and linear television rights. Its report says Sony MAX will show the film after the streaming debut. The reports announcing the acquisition give a date for Sony LIV, with the Sony MAX broadcast still to be dated.

How long was the theatrical window?

The film opened in cinemas on August 7, according to Cinema Express. The November 27 streaming premiere falls exactly sixteen weeks after that opening. Cinema Express reported that the film gained audiences after a quieter start in Indian cinemas and subsequently reached overseas markets. The streaming launch is the next step in that rollout, with television to follow under the same network.

Whose story does the film tell?

Chaturvedi’s film draws on the life of Neem Karoli Baba and on the director’s book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, NDTV reported. Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand appear in the lead cast.

The story opens with Lakshminarayan losing his mother. Hindustan Times describes how the loss leads him to travel through northern India in search of answers about suffering and faith. That journey provides the film’s account of how he became known as Neem Karoli Baba. For viewers coming to the film on streaming, the story starts with those early experiences before turning to the spiritual life for which he became known.
