A dedicated character preview for Sita
The makers of Ramayana have released a character promo centred on Sai Pallavi as Sita, adding a new piece of promotional footage ahead of the first film’s scheduled November 5 theatrical opening. ABP Live and The Free Press Journal reported the release on November 2.
The World Of Ramayana shared the video through its official social accounts. Its accompanying description presents Sita through her links with the Earth and Mithila, alongside love and dharma. The footage is a character-focused preview of her role in the film, rather than a newly announced casting decision.
[1][2]The promo follows Sita’s world and relationships
ABP Live describes scenes set in Mithila and imagery connecting Sita with the Earth and Lord Rama. These elements place her relationships and values at the centre of the preview.
The release follows a separate Lakshman poster featuring Ravie Dubey, which The Free Press Journal says was unveiled on the same day. Together, the character materials add to the film’s pre-release campaign. The new development here is the dedicated Sita promo, distinct from the songs already released during that campaign.

Nitesh Tiwari directs Ramayana. The announced principal roles include Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, according to ABP Live.
The first part is scheduled to open worldwide on November 5, 2026. ABP Live lists Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam among the release languages. The character promo arrives in that final pre-release window, giving viewers a closer look at Sita before the film reaches cinemas. ABP Live reports that Sony Pictures handles the international release outside India, with Dharma Productions distributing the Hindi-market release.
